- 2010: Visiting Research at UC San Diego, collaborating in the Cognitive Network group of Prof. Ramesh Rao; I have worked on Congitive Network Design and Analysis through Graphical Models (Dynamic Bayesian Networks).

- 2008-2010: PhD student at University of Padova (Italy), under the supervision of Prof. Michele Zorzi; I have worked on Data Collection through Compressive Sensing in Large Wireless Networks, Digital Signal Processing, Bayesian Learning methods and Data Management in environmental monitoring Wireless Sensor Networks.

- 2007: Visiting Research at University of Oulu (Finland), under the supervision of Zach Shelby and Prof.Carlos Pomalaza Raez; I have worked on the design of cross-layer forwarding techniques for delay tolerant WSNs in a Publish/Subscribe framework.
